催產素(Oxytocin )是一種神經生理肽，在下丘腦室旁核產生并儲存在垂體后部。該分子由9個氨基酸組成，用一個[1-6]二硫鍵和一個半靈活的羧基酰胺化尾巴連接。催產素是一種曾經被認為僅限于女性平滑肌生殖生理的激素，目前的研究結果已經確定，催產素也作為一種神經遞質發揮作用，可能參與神經精神障礙、社會性行為，并在男性生殖生理方面具備重要功能。催產素和相關的神經垂體肽精氨酸加壓素，維持腎臟水鈉平衡。
