      催產(chǎn)素(Oxytocin )是一種神經(jīng)生理肽,在下丘腦室旁核產(chǎn)生并儲(chǔ)存在垂體后部。該分子由9個(gè)氨基酸組成,用一個(gè)[1-6]二硫鍵和一個(gè)半靈活的羧基酰胺化尾巴連接。催產(chǎn)素是一種曾經(jīng)被認(rèn)為僅限于女性平滑肌生殖生理的激素,目前的研究結(jié)果已經(jīng)確定,催產(chǎn)素也作為一種神經(jīng)遞質(zhì)發(fā)揮作用,可能參與神經(jīng)精神障礙、社會(huì)性行為,并在男性生殖生理方面具備重要功能。催產(chǎn)素和相關(guān)的神經(jīng)垂體肽精氨酸加壓素,維持腎臟水鈉平衡。
